Oak Bay’s evening of dance lyrical hip hop dance Title: Silenced Choreography: Emily Eymundson Dancers: OB Dance Troupe This piece is based on those nations whose citizens do not have the freedom of speech. It is about the corrupt government who are working with the underground economy and are not running the country the way they should. The dancers with white shirts represent the government, the colorful ones are the gangsters, and the neutral tops with jeans are the citizens. This piece means a whole bunch not only to Emily, but all the dancers who had the privilege of dancing in it. Hope you enjoy watching it just as we do!!

LADIES….ARE YOU READY TO DANCE??!?? Well we’ve got something for your mind , your body and your soul! Join award winning choreographer Violeta Galagraza and I as we DANCE it out and show that REAL WOMEN got REAL MOVES! So come as you are, get-ready to have some fun and tap into that part of yourself that still wants to dance free! Each workshop will be two hours long and conclude with a segment on health, nutrition, sensuality, spirituality ond overall well being. Our final class will end with a celebration of us as WOMEN! And of course that means gift bags!! Classes will be every Thursday in May starting May 10th, from 7-9pm $20 per class or enroll in the whole series for only $75.00 May 10th..Hip Hop Dance to smooth and sexxi grooves followed by a Fitness and Nutrition Workshop.
